Steak & Everything Sandwich

Sandwiches are good anytime, but when you have left over prime rib your sandwich goes to the next level.  You don’t need to use prime rib, any leftover steak or roast will do just fine.  You can add your favorite veggies, onions or peppers – whatever sounds good to you.  It is simple but packed full of flavor!

Steak & Everything Sandwich

Prime rib roast (leftovers)
Green peppers (or red and yellow too)
Onion
Mushrooms
Provolone cheese
Your favorite rolls or bread

Heat-up your griddle on the camp stove. Fry the onions, peppers and mushrooms with a little oil. On the other side of the griddle fry the leftover roast to get a nice char. Butter your rolls and add them to the griddle for a nice, crisp toast.

Mix the meat and veggies together, top with cheese and allow the cheese to melt. place a healthy amount of filling on your roll, sit back and enjoy!
