There is nothing like grilling an appetizer that will get your guests begging for more! This colossal shrimp and vegetable kabobs will keep them coming back until these are all gone and the main dish is still on its way!
Pick whatever vegetables you want and add whatever seasoning you desire at the end, but I cannot see how you can go wrong with this combination!
Start by arranging your shrimp and vegetables on the skewers, brushing with olive oil, and adding the seasoning salt of your choice.
Then grill until the shrimp is done and the vegetables are just perfect!
Serve as an appetizer to whet the appetite off all who come to visit.
- 2 pounds colossal shrimp
- 1 large onion
- 2 green peppers
- 1 pound mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
- Preheat your grill to medium heat, about 350-375
- Cut up your onion, peppers and mushrooms to skewer-able sizes.
- Skewer the shrimp, onions, peppers, and mushrooms.
- Brush the whole thing with olive oil
- Add the seasoning salt of your choice
- Place skewers on grill and close
- Check and turn over every 3 to 5 minutes depending upon the heat of your grill
- Once the shrimp is all pink, pull the skewers out and serve!
Ya gotta love it!
I’m not a huge shrimp fan, but even I think these look amazing! I’m going to have to try them, my husband be thrilled 🙂
Thanks Kat! My family loves them with a little bit of cocktail sauce!
