If you are looking for something amazing for breakfast or brunch you really need to try this! What could be better than biscuits, bacon, cheese and some happy veggies. Drizzle with a little butter and you are in heaven. When you bring this out of a Dutch oven folks will be amazed. They will love eating them too!
Breakfast Pull-Aparts
1 lb. bacon diced and cooked
¾ c chopped green pepper
¾ c chopped onion
3 tubes (7 ½ oz.) refrigerator buttermilk biscuits
¼ c melted butter
½ – 1 c shredded cheddar cheese
In a 12″ Dutch oven (or on your camp stove in a heavy fry pan) cook bacon. Remove to a separate plate and drain on a paper towel. Remove beacon grease except 1 – 2 tablespoons. In the same pot, saute green pepper and onion until tender. Remove to a separate bowel to cool. Cut biscuits in fourths and place them in a large mixing bowl. Add veggies, bacon, butter and cheese. Gently mix until every thing is coated. Place in 10-inch Bundt pan that has been sprayed with Pam. In a deep Dutch oven, place a 9″ round cooling rack or trivet (it allows air to circulate). Place Bundt pan on the rack in your oven and bake at 350° for 30 – 40 minutes until cooked through and brown on top. Enjoy!
