Once I had made my own Smoked Pastrami it just seemed natural to make pastrami burgers. The pastrami has so much flavor that you really don’t need much seasoning in the burgers. They make such a great combination.
Pastrami Burgers
2 lbs lean ground beef
1/3 c Sweet Baby Rays (or your favorite sauce)
1/2 lb or more pastrami
8 hamburger buns, toasted
Toppings of choice including lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and such.
Combine hamburger and bbq sauce. Mix well, divide into eight equal amounts, patting into patties. Grill at medium high until desired temperature.
Serve with toasted buns and condiments, as much or as little as you like.
