Pina Colada Burgers

I absolutely love a good burger. And I really love a burger with lots of flavor and a little extra "kick". while browsing the Camp Chef website I spotted something I just had to try, and I was not disappointed! These burgers are so good, you have to give them a try!
  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • ¼ C teriyaki sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 T butter, melted
  • Sliced pineapple, fresh w/ core intact
  • Sliced Colby jack cheese
  • Cooked bacon
  • Hamburger buns
  • Pina Colada Sauce
  • ⅓ C mayonnaise
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple
  • ⅔ C cream of coconut
  • ⅓ C sour cream
  1. Make the pina colada sauce by mixing the four ingredients and set aside.
  2. Mix ground beef with teriyaki sauce and form into 8 patties. Press an indent into the center of each patty so they don't get too think as they cook. Season each side with salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high. Grill patties for 3 -4 minutes each side for medium and 5 - 6 minutes for jerky, or well done. You can baste with additional teriyaki sauce if you would like. Finish by adding a slice of cheese and letting it melt.
  4. Grill pineapple and brush with a little butter. Remove from the grill and remove the core. Place the burger on your bun (we toasted them on a griddle - awesome) top with sauce, a pineapple ring and bacon. Then simply sit down and enjoy an awesome burger!!
